Summer Gold is a bushy, deciduous shrub with thorny stems bearing pinnate leaves divided into glossy, toothed, dark green leaflets and clusters of fragrant, fully double, cupped, yellow flowers from late spring into autumn.
Colour: Rich yellow double blooms
Scented: Slight
Height & Spread: 75cm x 60cm, 10cm flower head diameter.
Position: Will thrive in most well drained soils. Best on an open, sunny site.
Plant Care: Roses benefit from the addition of organic material added to the soil. Feed in Spring, after pruning, and again in midsummer.
Dead Heading: Remove spent flowers after flowering, this will encourage repeat flowering.
Form: Bush, sold in a 3 litre pot.
