Countess is a new dual-purpose variety, superb, round, dark red-purple plummy fruit with a lovely flavour. The flesh is red to yellow with a wonderful melting texture, juicy, sweet and rich in flavour. Excellent eating quality but can also be used in cooking. Freestone, the stone comes away from the flesh when fully ripe.
