Dicksonia antarctica is the best known of all the tree ferns.
For best results grow Dicksonia antarctica in partial to full shade in moist soil.
Needs Winter Protection.
Protect the crown by wrapping it up with straw or horticultural fleece.

This fern needs regular water during dry weather on the top.
When the leaves go brown, cut the fronds back to to the base.
New fronds will re-appear in lush green again.

Planting any tree fern with a trunk over 2 foot should be planted in the ground but they can grow in a pot as long as they are well stabilised.
Ferns like humus rich soil and humidity.

Sold in a 48 litre pot.

How does click & collect work?

To place a click & collect order select the item you wish to purchase and add it to your basket, ensure you select the "collect in store" option, process your payment, and complete your transaction.

You will then receive 2 emails:
1. The first email will be to confirm your order has been placed with us.
2. You will receive a second email once we have your item/s ready for collection.

If we are unable to fulfill your order you will be notified at the soonest opportunity.

Please do not travel to collect your order until you have received your second email confirming that your order is ready for collection. You will need to bring the order confirmation/ready for collection email and your photo ID with you. 

Make your way to our checkouts in-store with your Order Confirmation email and ID to pick up your order.
