This year, we are partnering with Peppa Pig to raise money for Save the Children. We are encouraging children and families to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. We have produced free activity booklets for you in store, to take home, in exchange for a donation to Save the children.

Save the Children supports children to have the essentials they need – food, medicine, education and provides them with the freedom to be able to play: to explore their world, to learn, grow and develop. Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, millions of children have suffered with their learning and missed out on important mental, social and emotional development.

The money raised by National Children’s Gardening Week will help ensure more children have the opportunity to have the essentials they need, giving them the opportunity to grow. Please donate generously to Save the Children to support the important work they do to give all children the opportunity to flourish.

As children love to help out in the garden, we have put a selection together of items suitable to encourage younger gardeners, such as Seeds, gloves, wheelbarrows, watering can, garden brooms and other hand tools. This is located in store at the checkout area.
