Houseplant Amaryllis

Also known as Hippeastrum which is a tender bulb and needs to be planted in a pot indoors.
Bulbs should flower about six to eight weeks after planting, and should be planted from October to January.
Plant bulbs using John Innes No.2 or multipurpose
Two-thirds of the bulb should remain above the surface
Place in a well-lit spot at 21°C (70°F)
Water sparingly until the new leaves develop and then start watering regularly.
Best not let the compost dry out, but avoid excess water collecting in the saucer.
Turn the pot regularly to prevent the flower stalk growing towards the light.
Cultivars with large flowers should be staked.
When in flower, move the plant to a cooler place, about 15-18°C (60-65°F), to extend the flowering period.

How does click & collect work?

To place a click & collect order select the item you wish to purchase and add it to your basket, ensure you select the "collect in store" option, process your payment, and complete your transaction.

You will then receive 2 emails:
1. The first email will be to confirm your order has been placed with us.
2. You will receive a second email once we have your item/s ready for collection.

If we are unable to fulfill your order you will be notified at the soonest opportunity.

Please do not travel to collect your order until you have received your second email confirming that your order is ready for collection. You will need to bring the order confirmation/ready for collection email and your photo ID with you. 

Make your way to our checkouts in-store with your Order Confirmation email and ID to pick up your order.
